The QET and Coaches Programme

The QET was written collaboratively by PBS professionals from 5 service providers, 2 family carers and a commissioner from Surrey County Council. It is based on the Standards for Providers and Teams - produced by the PBS Academy in 2017. The QET aims to measure the experience of positive behaviour support provided to an individual AND to provide a framework for developing quality. There are three types of service identified - PBS Aware, PBS Active and PBS Specialist. These are not intended to be hierarchical, but to enable a service to be clear and positive about their provision.

Surrey PBS Network will be providing additional support and recognition to services in Surrey undertaking the QET. To register a service and receive information about the support provided and how to gain recognition for completion please email us on
